1. Mum had a song about literally everything. A talent which I have inherited, much to my husband's delight! 2. She was passionate about so many things - CND, Greenpeace, the Labour Party (until Tony Blair came on the scene)..to name just a few 3. Mum was always there when I needed advice, a chat or just a cuddle 4. Mum had great moral values..we were never allowed shoes from Nike or clothes from Gap due to child labour. Needless to say I did not have as much respect for this as a stroppy teenager! 5. She told it like it is, once sending one of Alex's friends home - telling him in no uncertain terms that he was making the house smell (which he was) 6. Mum had so much enthusiasim and excitement for life, I can vivdly remember her leaping about the place - mainly when we were outside somewhere, like a puppy! 7. When we would see a ramshackle old house in the middle of a nowhere (e.g. on top of a mountain in the lake district), mum would exclaim that she would 'love to live there'..bizarre! 8. Her adoration of Heath Ledger, who she would say could be part of her 'hareem' anytime. Great taste! 9. She absolutely loved children, and they loved her 10. She was a great, brilliant, fantastic mum xx
